Our young Muslims leaders were invited by Ashram Housing to attend breakfast at the House of Commons.
Seven young people from our Muslim Leaders of the Future programme attended.
Social Breakfast aims to improve intra and inter community relations by empowering individuals to take a lead in their community and providing a platform for those who feel disengaged from the political process.
The event started at 8.30am and finished at 10.30am. The young Muslims met the RtHon Charles Clark and Gisela Stewart, posing a few questions to them as well as pictures.
The young people found it a useful experience; their first visit to the Houses of Parliament and meeting influential personalities.
